I keep a list and am happy to share the book with someone who really wants to read it. There is a group i really like on facebook called #bookloans where you can either list which kindle e-books you have available or you can ask for one you've been wanting to read.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1587495004796140/

There is also another one called #GiftABook where you can gift e-books to people or people also offer e-books they can loan. Definitely a lot of trust has to be there for that. I'm glad that you have access to a great library. That definitely helps out! I always hesitate to loan my ebooks from Amazon out because I know once I loan it then I can't loan it again. I hate that you can only loan them once. But I've never heard of groups of Facebook who just borrow and loan books. I love that idea. And I haven't heard of ereaderiq either. I'll have to check them out! I definitely want notification when my ebooks go down in price. :) Thanks for that source Jennifer! Oh I hate that you can't buy on Amazon. I know they get a lot of flack sometimes, but I absolutely love Amazon.

I don't know that you should actively search for giveaways, but it can't hurt to enter any that you're interested in. I definitely don't enter giveaways just to win a free book. I only do it if the book is one that I really want.

I hate that your real life friends don't read. I understand your hesitancy to loan your books out, but like I said, if you have a friend who has had an accident with one of my books, they've always purchased me a new one.

Thanks for stopping by and for your thoughtful comment Lola!Sandy @ Somewhere Only We Knowhttp://sandyfarmer.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7611036570698926101.post-50110301178734980452015-01-11T14:11:09.742-06:002015-01-11T14:11:09.742-06:00SO many great resources here! Then you can share books without borrowing your ereader out. I love my library so much. While I have a very limited book budget I mostly work in the principle that I buy paperback/hardcopies of book by my favourite authors and odn't buy much books beside that. I love receiving review copies so I can still read some new releases or new to me authors. I can't buy books on amazon, so I don't use any of the amazon sites and related things.

I do enter some giveaways, but only a few, i dont'really actively look for them. Maybe I should try and search fro giveaways for books I wnat mroe often. I do love winning giveaways, there's always something so fun about winning a book you want. I make it a rule to only enter giveaways for books I want to read or win.

I don't have any real life friend, uhm I mean I don't have any real life friends that read. And even if I knew people in real life who read I probably would be very hesistant about lending books, unless they are as carefull with books as I am.

I did some research into promo sites for an author and let me say it's overhwelming how many there are, like there are hundreds of sites like that. Although BookBub certainly is one of the better ones.Lola Rnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7611036570698926101.post-29095146846483502542015-01-10T10:57:20.739-06:002015-01-10T10:57:20.739-06:00Thanks Amanda!
