Sunday Post - 112

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~ It's a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Amazingly enough, I didn't get any new books this week. But truthfully, I needed a week like this to catch up on review books. The week itself went by fairly fast and had some ups and downs. But I'm thankful for an extra long weekend. Happy Labor Day to my US friends.

Wednesday: Waiting on The Certainty of Violet & Luke (The Coincidence, # 5) by Jessica Sorensen
Thursday: Review of Shatter (True Believers, # 4) by Erin McCarthy (3.5 Stars)
Friday: Review of In Her Wake (Ten Tiny Breaths, # 0.5) by KA Tucker (4.5 Stars)

UPCOMING THIS WEEK:

Yay for a week with no books! Seriously, those usually feel like BIG accomplishments to me because they are so rare! And I would've been right there with you this week had you not sent me that freebie that I just had to have! (grabby fingers) ;)

  3. Those weeks without getting any new books always feel nice knowing you don't add to your growing TBR pile, but on the other hand I love getting books, so I don't have much of those weeks. Enjoy your long weekend :)

  4. My past few book weeks have also been quiet, and like you, I've welcomed the chance to catch my breath.

  7. I'm right there with you, I feel like i'm never going to catch up on my tbr books! It just keeps getting bigger and bigger! I haven't seen If I Stay yet…I think I might wait until on demand, I don't really want to walk out of a public place in hysteric tears. lol
Thanks for stopping by my corner of the internet:)

    Happy Reading!

  11. Oh yes, I've never gotten the TBR list to zero. So that's just never going to happen. But I do like to feel like I COULD if I wanted to. Thanks for stopping by Jenea!

  12. Thanks Angela! I'm glad you had a quiet week a while back to get caught up on reviews. If I don't write them as soon as possible then they just don't get written. Thanks for stopping by!

  14. It definitely is. I don't know that I've read anymore than normal lately, but it's been nice to see the number go down rather than go up. Thanks for stopping by Christy!

  16. It definitely seems to only grow. Especially if I don't have weeks without getting new books. I hope you get to see If I Stay sometime soon. I really enjoyed it. I teared up, but I didn't ugly cry like I did with The Fault in Our Stars. The whole theater was ugly crying though so at least I wasn't alone. :) Thanks for stopping by and commenting Kal-El!
