Goodreads description--Bryn Aven is an outcast among the Kanin, the most powerful of the troll tribes. Set apart by her heritage and her past, Bryn is a tracker who's determined to become a respected part of her world. She has just one goal: become a member of the elite King’s Guard to protect the royalty. She's not going to let anything stand in her way, not even a forbidden romance with her boss Ridley Dresden. But all her plans for the future are put on hold when Konstantin– a fallen hero who she once loved – appears to be up to something dangerous, kidnapping changelings. Bryn is sent in to help stop him, but will she lose her heart in the process?
It's been a while since I've read any Amanda Hocking, and ironically enough, I haven't actually read any of her traditionally published work. I think this might be a good one to read next. What are you waiting on this week? Let me know!
This feature is part of my All Things Halloween event--a month of paranormal, supernatural, mystery/thriller, etc reviews and books.
I'm excited for this one too :)

Troll tribes....now that is one thing that I've never seen a story on, much less a YA with romance and trolls. Sounds interesting! And I like the cover.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting Sarah!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandra!
ReplyDeleteThis is in the same "world" as her Trylle books, but I think this must be considered a spin-off series so I'm sure starting here will be fine! Thanks for stopping by and commenting Laurel!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting El!
ReplyDeleteHave you not read her Trylle books? I think you have them. Honestly, they're not amazing or anything, but I haven't read any of her traditionally published books yet so I'm interested to see how much better (if at all) they are. I enjoyed her other books, but still. I think this is considered a spin off series from the Trylle ones because it says "From the World of the Trylle" on the cover.
ReplyDeleteI'm SO excited for this one. It's been a while since I've read any of her books too but this one definitely has rekindled my interest.
ReplyDeleteI really do love this cover! I am excited to be in this world again, can't wait :)
ReplyDeleteHopefully this one will be a win for both of us. Thanks for stopping by Jillyn!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited about getting back into the Trylle world too! And Finn's sister too! Exciting! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting Nyze! I actually have A Thousand Pieces of You for review. I hope we both enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of Amanda Hocking's books! This does look really interesting, though, so I just might have to change that. :)
ReplyDeleteReally? I've actually only read her self-published books. They were....a bit...rough around the edges (and in the middle on some of them). HAHA! But I'm interested in seeing how she's done with her traditionally published books.
ReplyDeleteI don't have the book yet. Send me a link of your review :)
