Top Ten Authors I Need To Read More

Top 10 Tuesday is a post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and this week's topic is Top Ten Authors I Need To Read More.

These are all situations that I’ve only read one published book authored by each listed. I need to read more, and I need to do so ASAP.

  1. Katja Millay - As far as I know, she doesn't have any other books upcoming. This makes me sad.
  2. Anne Eliot - Need to read Unmaking Hunter Kennedy
  3. Brent Crawford - Really want to see what Carter gets into next with Carter's Big Break.
  4. Alyssa Rose Ivy - I've got another one of her books, but I just haven't gotten around to picking it up yet.
  5. Priscilla Glenn - Emancipating Andie & Coming Home...I want to read them both
  6. Francine Rivers - I've had her Mark of the Lion series on my TBR list for a while.
  7. Chelsea M Cameron - I'd like to continue the series with Faster We Burn.
  8. Cath Crowley - A Little Wanting Song is the next Cath Crowley on my list.
  9. Kody Keplinger - Truthfully I don't have a specific Kody Keplinger book in queue, but I enjoyed The DUFF so much more than I expected.
  10. Lysa TerKuerst - I LOVED Made to Crave and I need to read more of her stuff. Almost anything is fair game.
  11. Vi Keeland - I really want to carry on with this series. Worth the Chance (book 2).
  12. GJ Walker-Smith - Another series I want to continue with book 2, Second Hearts.

I highly recommend checking them out. I need to read more by each myself. Have you read any of these authors? Let me know!

  2. I'm so happy that I keep seeing Cath Crowley on everybody's TTT lists this week! I seriously love her writing, and outside of Australia she's super under appreciated. As to Keplinger novels, you should definitely check out A Midsummer's Nightmare next—it's my favorite by her (though The DUFF comes in a very close second).

Francine Rivers' books are really good, also. I haven't read her gladiator books in a while, but I really loved them in middle school. Nowadays, I really enjoy her historical/contemporary crossover, Scarlet Thread, and I re-read it all the time.

  4. I feel sad that I too.. have not read any of these books or authors. I have heard a lot about Duff though and it has always intrigued me to read it.

  6. Oh yes, I was really impressed with Cath Crowley. I have no excuses for why I haven't picked up any more of her books other than simply not having the time to read all of the books that I'd like. I'll definitely have to make sure A Midsummer's Nightmare is my next Kody Keplinger. Thanks for the rec.

And now I'll have to add Scarlet Thread to my list too! I so wish there was more time in the day. :) Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting Renae!

  8. The DUFF was so different from what I expected. I hated the main character at first, but she grows and I ended up really liking the story. I hope you're able to check out some of these books/authors before too long. Thanks for stopping by and commenting Angela!

  9. Yeah, my sister-in-law has the whole Mark of the Lion series and she said I can borrow them whenever. So I know I have access to them. I just haven't gotten around to reading them yet. The Sea of Tranquility was so much better than I was expecting. And Graffiti Moon too. I hope you get to read them both soon. Thanks for stopping by Jennifer!

  10. Really love Mark of the Lion (well, the first two anyway. Never got around to reading the last in that trilogy). Also, I REALLY need to read Sea of Tranquility and Graffiti Moon!
