Top Ten Longest Books I've Read

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week's topic is Books with a High Page Count.

  1. The Holy Bible - Of course the page count is going to depend on which translation you use and the size font etc. But I've read the Bible yearly for the last 14ish years. I have kind of lost count at this point.
  2. A Storm of Swords (A Song of Ice and Fire, # 3) by George RR Martin - 1177 pages
  3. A Dance with Dragons (A Song of Ice and Fire, # 5) by George RR Martin - 1125 pages
  4. A Feast for Crows (A Song of Ice and Fire, # 4) by George RR Martin - 1060 pages
  5. Heat of the Everflame (Kindred's Curse, # 3) by Penn Cole - 1026 pages (review coming soon)
  6. A Clash of Kings (A Song of Ice and Fire, # 2) by George RR Martin - 1009 pages
  7. Kingdom of Ash (Throne of Glass, # 7) by Sarah J Maas - 989 pages
  8. Iron Flame (The Empyrean, # 2) by Rebecca Yarros - 886 pages
  9. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Harry Potter, # 5) by JK Rowling - 870 pages
  10. A Wild Hope (Wild Swan Trilogy, # 1) by Celeste De Blasis - 843 pages

What are the longest books you've read? Let me know!

PS I did this same post back in 2018. It's interesting to go back and see which books are the same and which ones have been knocked off that list in favor of some of the longer ones on this list.

Top Ten Bookish Accessories from Amazon

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week's topic is Freebie.

So I picked bookish accessories from Amazon.

  1. Kindle Paperwhite - Of course, the first item on my list would be a Kindle. I love the Paperwhite for actually reading. I love the auto adjustment to light levels most of all. I think this Metallic Jade color is so pretty.
  2. Kindle Colorsoft - I don't own a Colorsoft, personally, but I'm so interested in them. When I need to replace or upgrade, I'll probably get one of these.
  3. Rechargable Book Clip-On Light - I prefer to read on my phone or Kindle Paperwhite at night, but occasionally, I still need to read a hardcopy book at night. Having a clip-on book light for reading a physical copy at night is a must.
  4. Hand Strap for Kindle and Tablets - These straps make holding onto my Kindle while reading so much easier--especially at night when I'm lying down. I love that they come in nearly every color imaginable.
  5. Tablet Holder for Kindle Reading in Bed with Page Turner Remote - I don't own one of these yet, but I'm seriously considering getting one. Being able to move it as needed is a big pro.
  6. Remote Control Page Turner for Kindle - Such a brillant idea for those of us who like to keep our arms under the covers while reading, but also we have to turn the page! These last three products are the definition of first world issues, but I'm here for them.
  7. Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds - I'm a Samsung girlie, and these earbuds are a must for listening to audiobooks. Of course, you don't have to get this kind, but wireless earbuds are a top pick for sure.
  8. Sticky Index Tabs Page Markers - I don't do a ton of tabbing because I don't read a ton of physical books. I read more on my Kindle, but I love having the option of marking my favorite pages and color coding everything.
  9. See Through Sticky Notes
  10. Bookmarks - I love the colors of this set. And the little charms are so cute. They come where you can put them together yourself, so you get to choose which charm goes with which bookmark. I'm including a couple of options for bookmarks: Space/Starry Night, Stained Glass

And if you want a different style of bookmark, I like these: Handmade Christian Leather Bookmarks, Magnetic Bookmarks, or Gold Hollow Bookmarks

All Amazon links are affiliate links and go to support giveaways at Somewhere Only We Know.

Top Ten Summer 2025 TBR List

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week's topic is Top Ten Summer 2025 TBR List
  1. The Folklore of Forever (Moonville, # 2) by Sarah Hogle - I enjoyed book 1 in this series more than I expected, but I've been putting this one off for some reason.
  2. Ex Marks the Spot by Gloria Chao - I actually forgot that I had this book for review. I need to knock it out soon.
  3. Rules for Ruin (The Chrinoline Academy, # 1) by Mimi Matthews - I have loved Mimi Matthews, but this one has been one that I've struggled to get into. I'll read it eventually, but I'm struggling a little with the beginning.
  4. Heart Marks the Spot by Libby Hubscher - A newly acquired book.
  5. The Magician of Tiger Castle by Louis Sachar - I never read Holes, but I'm familiar with the author. I thought I would check this one out.
  6. A Kingdom to Claim by Sian Ann Bessey - Eesh, I've had this book way too long. I feel sure I'll enjoy it, but I've just not been in the mood for this yet.
  7. Nothing Like the Movies (Better Than the Movies, # 2) by Lynn Painter - Ok, so I didn't research enough to figure out that this was book 2 in a series and I haven't read book 1 yet.
  8. Til Heist Do Us Part (Simi Chopra, # 2) by Sara Desai - Same as the previous. I knew this was the 2nd in the series for this one, but I still haven't read book 1, so I keep putting this off.
  9. A Touch of Shadows (The Lost Queen, # 1) by Jessica Thorne - I need to get around to this one. I keep seeing book 2 available for review request, but I feel unsure about requesting it since I've been putting this book off as well.
  10. The Notorious Virtues (The Notorious Virtues, # 1 ) by Alwyn Hamilton - I really enjoyed Alwyn Hamilton's previous series, and this one was on my radar for a long time. I need to knock this out.
