Ten Books That Have Been on My TBR Since Before Blogging

Top 10 Tuesday is a post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and this week's topic is Top Ten Books That Have Been on My TBR Since Before Blogging.

This is really hard for me to say for sure because I didn't really keep up with them before blogging, and I certainly had never heard of Goodreads either. So I'll just do the best that I can. Also, I'm avoiding the business books that I have on my TBR list from when I was in college. I still hope to read many of those but for the purpose of this post, I'll skip them.

  1. A Voice in the Wind (Mark of the Lion, # 1) by Francine Rivers
  2. Paranormalcy (Paranormalcy, # 1) by Kiersten White
  3. Nightshade (Nightshade, # 1) by Andrea Cremer
  4. A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks
  5. The Girl of Fire and Thorns (Fire and Thorns, # 1) by Rae Carson
  6. My Soul to Take (Soul Screamers, # 1) Rachel Vincent
  7. Born at Midnight (Shadow Falls, # 1) by CC Hunter
  8. Rapture (Fallen, # 4) by Lauren Kate
  9. Finale (Hush Hush, # 4) by Becca Fitzpatrick
  10. Significance (Significance, # 1) by Shelly Crane

I know, I know! Some of these are so old. But I just can't seem to remove them from my TBR list. I actually have a couple of these in my possession. Which books have been on your TBR list the longest? Let me know!

Top Ten Hyped Books I've Not Read

Top 10 Tuesday is a post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and this week's topic is Top Ten Hyped Books I've Not Read.

So before you all berate me for having not read the following books, please know that all of these are on my TBR list. I do hope/plan to get around to each of these…eventually. Of course, there are a ton of books that have been hyped that I haven’t read, but scrolling through my TBR list I went looking for the ones that had the most ratings on Goodreads (typically meaning the most amount of people have actually read these). I excluded any classics because come on…classics are classics for a reason.

  1. The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E Smith (75,137)
  2. Attachments by Rainbow Rowell (66,822)
  3. Landline by Rainbow Rowell (67,413)
  4. Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, # 1) by Sarah J Maas (122,593)
  5. Finale (Hush Hush, # 4) by Becca Fitzpatrick (82,447)
  6. Paranormalcy (Paranormalcy, # 1) by Kiersten White (70,474)
  7. Across the Universe (Across the Universe, # 1) by Beth Revis (80,047)
  8. Two for the Dough (Stephanie Plum, # 2) by Janet Evanovich (106,497)
  9. Perfect Chemistry (Perfect Chemistry, # 1) by Simone Elkeles (159,125)
  10. Me Before You (Me Before You, # 1) by Jojo Moyes (217,649)

Which books have received a lot of hype that you’ve yet to read? Which ones of these should I bump up higher on my TBR list? Let me know!

Top Ten Fantasy Books I Can't Believe I Haven't Read Yet

Top 10 Tuesday is a post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and this week's topic is Top Ten Fantasy Books I Can't Believe I Haven't Read Yet.

I was specifically focusing on paranormal and zombie type fantasy books.

  1. The Walking Dead by Robert Kirkman (changing this soon I hope)
  2. Not a Drop to Drink by Mindy McGinnish
  3. Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter
  4. The Winner’s Curse by Marie Rutkoski
  5. Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake
  6. Inhuman by Kat Fells
  7. Enclave by Ann Aguirre
  8. The First Days by Rhiannon Frater
  9. Rapture by Phillip W Simpson
  10. Zombie Fallout by Mark Tufo
  11. Paranormalcy by Kiersten White
  12. Legend by Marie Lu

Seriously! How have I not read these books yet? It simply comes down to not having enough time. What are the fantasy books you can't believe you haven't read yet?
