Top Ten Books on my Summer 2013 TBR List

Top 10 Tuesday is a post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and this week's topic is Top Ten Books on my Summer 2013 TBR List.

I don't always do very well at sticking to these lists, but I do like to have some sort of plan for my upcoming reads.

1) Of Poseidon (Of Poseidon, # 1) by Anna Banks

2) Rose Under Fire by Elizabeth Wein

3) Siege and Storm (The Grisha, # 2) by Leigh Bardugo

4) A Feast for Crows (A Song of Ice and Fire, # 4) by George R R Martin

5) The Iron Queen (The Iron Fey, # 3) by Julie Kagawa

6) The Redemption of Callie and Kayden (The Coincidence, # 2) by Jessica Sorensen

7) Losing Hope (Hopeless, # 2) by Collen Hoover

8) Angel of Mercy (Cambion, # 3) by Shannon Dermott

9) Passion (Fallen, # 3) by Lauren Kate

10) Demons (Seers, # 2) by Heather Frost

That's it for my Summer 2013 TBR list. What are you guys hoping to read this summer? Let me know!

  3. I hope you get to all of these over the summer! I have actually had a copy of Shadow and Bone on my shelf since it was released and I still haven't gotten around to reading it.

  7. I really want to read the A Song of Fire and Ice books, but they always seem so daunting. I picked up a box set of the first four books for $5 recently, so I have no excuse now! Thanks for stopping by my top ten and happy reading!

  8. Looks like some good books! I actually enjoyed Feast for Crows. Book 3 is apparently the favorite of everyone everywhere, but I actually preferred this one. I've also heard good things about Of Poseidon. I need to grab it myself.

  9. Of Poseidon is a perfect pick! I just listened to it on audio and absolutely loved it. I'm about to write my review for it right now. Hope you end up reading it and enjoying =D

  10. The only one of these that I've read is 'Rose Under Fire' and I LOVED that! I highly recommend it! I've heard lots of good things about The Grisha books so I'm saving them for my holiday! Have a happy summer of reading!

Thanks for commenting on my TTT post! :) This is a really good summer reading list, most of them look like great beach reads. I haven't gotten around to Passion yet, I'm still reading Torment and I'm almost done with The Iron Queen, it's so good! A lot of these I still need to read. I hope you enjoy your summer and happy reading! :)

  15. They're definitely massive reads. But I usually read them WHILE reading something else, so I don't feel so much pressure to get through it. Fair warning, there are some slow parts--which makes sense considering how big each novel is. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy them once you get around to them!

  16. I really loved book 3, but I'm not very far into book 4 yet. Good to know someone out there really loved this one. Thanks for stopping by!

  17. Yes, I've heard great things about it. I need to start it soon, but you know how it goes, sometimes others take precedence. Thanks Becky!

  18. Oh goodie! I loved Code Name Verity so I fully expect to enjoy Rose Under Fire too! I blew through Shadow and Bone, but I'm reading Siege and Storm now and it's a little slow going if I'm honest! Thanks for stopping by Hannah!

  19. Hehe...good. I'm looking forward to getting around to it. I'm honestly not that excited about Passion, but I borrowed it from a friend at least 6 months ago and really need to just break down and get it read. I'm reading Siege and Storm right now. Truthfully it's a little slow, hoping it gets better! Thanks for stopping by! And the follow!

  20. I enjoyed Torment but it didn't leave me thrilled about reading Passion. I just need to get around to it because I borrowed it from a friend MONTHS ago. I have heard that The Iron Queen is the best of that series, so I'm looking forward to getting around to that one too! Thanks for stopping by Megan!

Ooh, you're ahead of me on both A Song of Ice and Fire and on the Lauren Kate books. I've only read the first two Martin books, and I've just bought Fallen.

  27. Fallen was pretty good, but Torment wasn't my favorite. I have to admit that I'm not stoked about starting Passion but I borrowed it from a friend like MONTHS ago. I need to get it read so I can give it back to her. Maybe you'll like the whole series more than I have. A Storm of Swords has been my favorite ASoIaF so far so I'm sure you'll enjoy that one.
