Goodreads description--One choice will define you. What if your whole world was a lie?
What if a single revelation—like a single choice—changed everything?
What if love and loyalty made you do things you never expected? The faction-based society that Tris Prior once believed in is shattered—fractured by violence and power struggles and scarred by loss and betrayal. So when offered a chance to explore the world past the limits she’s known, Tris is ready. Perhaps beyond the fence, she and Tobias will find a simple new life together, free from complicated lies, tangled loyalties, and painful memories.
But Tris’s new reality is even more alarming than the one she left behind. Old discoveries are quickly rendered meaningless. Explosive new truths change the hearts of those she loves. And once again, Tris must battle to comprehend the complexities of human nature—and of herself—while facing impossible choices about courage, allegiance, sacrifice, and love.
Told from a riveting dual perspective, Allegiant, by #1 New York Times best-selling author Veronica Roth, brings the Divergent series to a powerful conclusion while revealing the secrets of the dystopian world that has captivated millions of readers in Divergent and Insurgent.

Goodreads description--From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Ella and Micha series comes a gripping story of passion, pain, and the courage to love . . .THE TEMPTATION OF LILA AND ETHAN
On the surface, Lila Summers is flawless: good looks, expensive clothes, and a big, beautiful smile. But a dark past and even darker secrets are threatening to bubble over her perfect façade. She'll do anything to keep the emptiness inside hidden-which leads her into situations that always end badly. Whenever she hits bottom, there's only one person who's there to pull her out: Ethan Gregory.
Ethan set the rules a long time ago: he and Lila are just friends. He doesn't do relationships. Although his tattooed, bad boy exterior is a far cry from Lila's pretty princess image, Ethan can't deny they have a deeper connection than he's used to. If he's not careful, he could be in serious danger of becoming attached-and he's learned the hard way that attachment only leads to heartbreak.
When Lila falls farther than she ever has before, can Ethan continue to help as a friend? Or is he also getting close to falling . . . for her?

Ooo I need to pick up The Temptation of Lila and Ethan (The Secret, # 3) and it sounds like you had a wonderful week, I hope this week is awesome :)
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy Allegiant. I pre-ordered it, but it always takes TBD some time to ship to my country. I have been hearing some people where unsastisfied with the ending, but I am trying to avoid reading any spoilers. I own Under The Never Sky, but still haven't gotten around to reading it, I have heard great things about it.
ReplyDeleteI was curious about Parasite, will be curious to see your thoughts on that. Have a good rest of the weekend.
ReplyDeleteI've seen a bit of Allegiant as I've cruised around. I hope it is everything you want and more.
ReplyDeleteI want to get Allegiant soon, because I hear the ending is shocking. I'm really curious to see what's that all about :) thanks for stopping by my blog, enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteI want Allegiant so badly, and seeing it on everyone's blogs is just making it worse. I still need to read Parasite sometime soon. I keep getting backed up on review books because of that pesky thing called life, lol.
ReplyDeleteWaiting on a book you're excited about is the worst--especially when it seems like everyone else has a copy of it. If it makes you feel any better Allegiant is really stressing me out--that probably doesn't make you feel any better does it?
ReplyDeleteThanks! I don't read too many scary books and the ones I have don't necessarily have scary covers, so this one was both difficult and fun.
ReplyDeleteYeah it is. It's really stressing me out too! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteThanks Becki! I'll definitely do reviews of both ASAP! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED Divergent. Insurgent was a typical book 2 in a series for me. And so far Allegiant has been stressing me out more than I've been enjoying it. I highly recommend reading Divergent to at least experience that. I feel very similar about this series as I did to The Hunger Games series. But that's all I'll say for now. Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteInsurgent wasn't my favorite. And so far Allegiant is stressing me out. But I hope it ends better than I'm seeing some people comment about. :( Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteHahahah! Not really, no, but I saw a lot of people being shaken over it or pissed about the book, so I am bracing myself :D
ReplyDeleteI loved Divergent. I'd definitely recommend checking it out. Thanks for stopping by Sarah!
ReplyDeleteGotcha. I'm sure you'll get to it! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI have to say...I'm not loving it. I'm ALMOST 50% through. It's stressing me out! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteYes I've been seeing that too. I'm about 50% through and so far I'm just stressed out. :( Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely do! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I'm not loving it so far. I'm about 50%. It's stressing me out more than anything else. I haven't read any spoilers either, but the comments I'm seeing from others aren't that great. :( I definitely LOVED Under the Never Sky. Highly recommend it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Greg! I hope you come back Thursday to check out my review! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteSo far it's just been stressing me out. :( But thanks Vilia!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard "shocking" but I've heard most people aren't satisfied with it. I'm about 50% through and I haven't been loving it. :( Thanks for stopping by though!
ReplyDeleteOh yes...when you're excited about a book that everyone else seems to have their hands on...that's the worst. Hopefully you'll get a copy soon. If it makes you feel any better, I'm not really loving it. :( Hope you get around to Parasite soon too. Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI'm not typically one to get worked up about whether a book will end the way I want it to or not. I usually just roll with it. What happens happens and how I feel about it is fine. We'll see how I feel at the end. But I'm trying to brace myself too.
