Goodreads description--Panic began as so many things do in Carp, a dead-end town of 12,000 people in the middle of nowhere: because it was summer, and there was nothing else to do.

Heather never thought she would compete in Panic, a legendary game played by graduating seniors, where the stakes are high and the payoff is even higher. She’d never thought of herself as fearless, the kind of person who would fight to stand out. But when she finds something, and someone, to fight for, she will discover that she is braver than she ever thought.

Dodge has never been afraid of Panic. His secret will fuel him, and get him all the way through the game, he’s sure of it. But what he doesn't know is that he’s not the only one with a secret. Everyone has something to play for.

For Heather and Dodge, the game will bring new alliances, unexpected revelations, and the possibility of first love for each of them—and the knowledge that sometimes the very things we fear are those we need the most.

Though I haven't read Requiem yet, I've been loving Lauren Oliver's Delirium series. I can't wait to get my hands on this one. What are you waiting on this week? Let me know!

  11. I just got approved for this yesterday! I can't wait to start it!!!! Lauren is one of my favorite authors. I've read all her books. My favorite was Before I Fall. I enjoyed the Deliirum trilogy but was sorely disappointed with the ending.

  12. I actually just picked it up today! She's also one of my favorites. I haven't read Before I Fall yet, but I've heard from pretty much everyone that they were disappointed with Requiem. Thanks for stopping by!

  13. I highly recommend Delirium, but I haven't read Before I Fall yet. I definitely understand the crankiness from noting having enough time to read all of the books you already have! I don't get cranky so much as slightly stressed out. Thanks for stopping by!

  17. I had seen this on Edelweiss but didn't think I'd like it because I didn't like Lauren Oliver's other books, but now that I've read the synopsis I think I might give it a chance! Thanks for making me take a closer look at it!

  18. Oh no! I hate you didn't like her other books. I've really enjoyed the ones that I've read. But maybe this one will work out better for you!

  19. I haven't read this series. Puts me a little in mind of The Hunger Games, which I enjoyed.
