Sunday Post - 88

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~ It's a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Man this week had some slow days, yet it felt like a fast week overall. I was off work Monday so I'm sure that helped some. Oh and I'm super excited about seeing Divergent this Friday night. How about you guys? Anyone going to see the movie? Also, how in the world have I literally made it three weeks without getting a single new book? I have no idea. I'm impressed you've gone three weeks without getting any new books! Not a thing wrong with that! Good job on your March TBR goals too!

  3. I wish I could go 2 days without getting a new book or even not adding one to my TBR list lol

I have yet to read The Game of Thrones series (I know thats not what it's really called) but I think I will after the show is over.

    Have a great week!

  5. wow another week without getting any new weeks? Really I wish I could have a few weeks without getting any new books.
I am not sure yet whether I am going to see Divergent or not, I did love the book, but I don't know whether I want to see the movie. That reminds me that I still have to read Allegiant.

  6. 3 weeks?! *mind boggles* lol Have a great week! And go get some more books or we may have to kick you out of the Book Hoarder Club. LOL

  7. You resisted 3 weeks ? I don't know how you managed it but congrats lol ! I haven't even read Divergent yet, I think I'll wait until I see the movie and then read the book - when you do it the other way around, you're often disappointed ;) Have a great week !

  8. I sometimes feel that if I have 1 day a week off, the week seems to go extra slow? doesn't make any sense, but that's what it is! Hey you are certainly working on your TBR pile! Have a great week and Happy Reading!

  9. Thanks! Seems like I got more books off my list last year, yet I've read more books this March than last March. Weird! Enjoyed the movie last night!

  10. Oh I thought she did a GREAT job in the movie! Sorry you're not a fan of her. You don't have to be organized with the series enders challenge, you can always join at any point. If you happen to finish one series ender then you've made level 1 and should join up! :) Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting!

  11. Thanks Catherine! I wish I were able to get more knocked off my list, but I'm glad to have read these. Thanks for stopping by!

  12. Yeah, I have this thing about needing to feel like I at least CAN read all of the books I have in my possession, so I try to limit myself sometimes. Yeah, I can understand waiting until the show is over to start the series. It's a good series for sure! The show does a great job! Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

  13. Oh yeah. I've enjoyed having some new book free weeks, but this coming week I make up for it. Thanks for stopping by!

  14. Believe me, I made up for it this week! HA! I will say that Divergent (the movie) was AWESOME! I'll probably see it in the theater again. I would definitely reading Allegiant soon though. Possibly before watching the movie. Thanks for stopping by!

  15. Hope this has been a better week for you. Don't worry, I made up for the last three weeks this past one. I wish I were knocking more of my TBR books out, but I'm happy with the ones I've gotten read. Thanks for stopping by!

  16. Haha...don't worry. There's no worries about me getting kicked out of the Book Hoarder Club. I've made up for it this week! :) Thanks for stopping by!

  17. It was a combination of things. I didn't see many review books I was interested in. The ones I did request weren't approved until this week. And the ones I wanted to buy weren't released yet. I definitely recommend reading Divergent. I loved the book, and I loved the movie too. There were differences of course. But I wasn't disappointed. Thanks for stopping by!

  18. Oh I completely agree with that Peggy. The week after being off always feels longer to me too. Especially around Christmas and New Years. The first full week back at work feels so long. Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting!

  19. I've not read Divergent yet, though I do want to see the movie. But we'll probably have to wait for the DVD. *sigh*

  20. Yeah, I understand having to wait sometimes, but I definitely recommend you checking it out as soon as you can. Thanks for stopping by!

  21. I dislike Shailene Woodley, so the casting pretty much killed my interest in the Divergent movie. I may see it on DVD in a few months, or I may not.

If I were more organized I would sign up for the series ender challenge. I still need to figure out what series I'm reading and where I am in them.
