15 Day Book Blogger Challenge - Day 12

The 15 Day Book Bloggers Challenge hosted by April @ Good Books and Good Wine. Day 12 in the 15 Day Book Blogger Challenge is about fighting blogger fatigue.

I honestly can't say that I've ever felt fatigued as a blogger. There have been a few times when I've chosen to spend time actually reading over visiting other blogs and commenting like I should (or feel like I should), but I've not grown tired of blogging yet. So I'm not quite sure how I'll combat this when the time comes.

Considering I started blogging in order to talk about books that I've loved reading--will I ever get tired of talking about books that I've loved reading? Maybe, but not today.

How do you combat blogger fatigue? Let me know!

  1. Ooooh I get tired of reviewing sometimes. When uni and work are really hectic and I need to post up reviews, I feel like it's become and obligation rather than something I enjoy. I think that counts as blogging fatigue. I definitely feel overwhelmed by the amount of books I need to read and review and I sometimes think "what have I gotten myself in to?"

  2. I don't get tired of blogging either! But unfortunately I DO get in reading slumps alot of times. I feel like they're equally bad! lol

  3. Yeah, I can see getting tired of writing reviews sometimes. I like writing reviews even though I don't feel like mine are the best ever. They're just me. I 100% get overwhelmed with the amount of books that I need to read and I'm getting quite stressed about that even now.

  4. Yeah, I get that. I sometimes read several mediocre books in a row and that can bring me down. And then sometimes I feel like I'm neglecting my responsibilities so I back off the reading for a bit. Reading slumps are the worst!

  5. I sometimes get frustrated with the amount of time blogging takes away from reading. I'm trying to figure out ways to streamline some of the process -- templates for reviews and features I do regularly, that sort of thing. I enjoy writing reviews, but I'm a perfectionist, so it takes me a long time. I'm trying to get over that, too, and learn to write them more quickly without losing too much quality. But even with the time it takes, I enjoy blogging and interacting with other blogging friends!

  6. I completely agree. Sometimes blogging takes up so much more time than I'd like. Time that I could have spent reading. It doesn't usually take me TOO much time to type and format my reviews, but it's the other posts and visiting other people's blogs and posts that takes the most time for me. Not that I would stop doing that. If you find a better way to streamline it all you'll have to let me know! :) I do love my bookish peeps though!

  7. Yes, visiting and reading other blogs takes up a lot of time, too, but it's part of what I love about blogging. :-) And I haven't found a way to streamline anything yet!
