The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~ It's a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
Happy Easter everyone! Praise God! Jesus rose from the dead and is now seated at the right hand of God! (Matthew 28:1-8; Mark 16:1-8; Luke 24:1-12; John 20:11-18; 1 Corinthians 15; Luke 22:69; Ephesians 1:20; Colossians 3:1) This has been a good week. We've had nice weather so Little Girl and I have gotten to walk almost every day. I've also worked on sanding this old patio table and chairs in order to get them ready to repaint. My grandmother came to visit on Saturday so my siblings and families all got together to visit with her. Saturday night we took Little Girl to Grammy's house to dye Easter eggs. I'm excited to see her hunt eggs later on today. Last year she was only 5 months old and couldn't really participate. No new books this week.

Happy Easter to you too :) I'm glad you had a great week! I wish I could say that about myself :p Thankfully, I haven't added too much my to TBR this week, and I've finished two! Haven't blogged about them yet, but I will soon :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! Oh, I miss the days of Easter with a little one. We sent our Robin a basket (well, a box) at college, and while she loved it, it wasn't the same as hiding her baskets and eggs and watching her run around to find them. Have a wonderful week, and I hope you and Little Girl have more good weather to enjoy together.
ReplyDeleteSounds like the perfect Easter weekend. Have a lovely week!

Ah, only 3 stars to Twist? :-( I ordered my copy from the Book Depository, cheaper than the store I work at, plus I like the guy on that cover better. Hoping I enjoy it as much as I did Twist. Hope you have a good week!

Sorry you didn't have a good week (two weeks ago). I hope the last one and this one have been better. Thanks for stopping by and commenting Avalinah!
ReplyDeleteOh I'm sure that wasn't the same at all. Bittersweet again...your children growing up. Glad to hear that Robin enjoyed her basket. Hope you all had a Happy Easter as well! Thanks for stopping by Lark!
ReplyDeleteIt was very nice. I hope you had a lovely Easter also! Thanks for stopping by Laura!
ReplyDeleteI'm a little hard on the new adult genre. :( I just have a few issues that seem to repeat throughout the genre. Yet I can't stop myself from reading them at the same time. I'm with you...I wasn't a huge fan of the cover model either. Thanks for stopping by Lisa!
