Top Ten Books I'm Dying to Get Early

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week's topic is Top Ten Books I'm Dying to Get Early.

I haven't done a TTT post since 2017. Personally, I didn't love any of the topics, but the biggest reason was time. I just have NOT had the time to pull together a top ten list each week. And some topics are more difficult to create than others. This list, however, was pretty easy.

  1. Listen to Your Heart by Kasie West - I actually requested this for review and got denied.
  2. All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover - Because hello Colleen Hoover!
  3. Kingdom of Ash (Throne of Glass, # 7) by Sarah J Maas - Ok to be honest, I still haven't read Tower of Dawn but if I had Kingdom of Ash, I'd jump on both of them. (not pictured)
  4. 99 Lies (100 Hours, # 2) by Rachel Vincent
  5. Dance of Thieves (Dance of Thieves, # 1) by Mary E Pearson
  6. Dark Age (Red Rising, # 5) by Pierce Brown - Again...I've got to read Iron Gold first.
  7. From Here to You (Crash and Burn, # 1) by Jamie McGuire - Unfortunately, I've been denied this one for review also.
  8. The Reckoning of Noah Shaw (The Shaw Confessions, # 2) by Michelle Hodkin - Again...got to read The Becoming of Noah Shaw first. I've been putting it off because I didn't love the way the Mara Dyer series ended.
  9. Queen of Air and Darkness (The Dark Artifices, # 3) by Cassandra Clare - You guessed it. Still need to read Lord of Shadows.
  10. The Winds of Winter (A Song of Ice and Fire, # 6) by George R R Martin - Shoot...forget getting this early...just get this published period. I'm looking at you GRRM.

Which books are you dying to get early? Let me know!

  1. Yes, totally agree with The Winds of Winter! I'm starting to lose hope.

  2. Kasie West's books are always fun. They're super popular, though, so I guess not everyone gets the ARCs. Boo!

    Happy TTT!

  4. The books that I wish that I could get early: More Than Words by Mia Sheridan, All We Ever Wanted by Emily Giffin, Folsom by Tarryn Fisher and Willow Aster, Bring Me Back by BA Paris. I did get to read one of the books on your list, All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover. It was my favorite book of 2018!

  6. She publishes through two different publishing houses. One of them seems to approve me and the other doesn't. I'm not quite sure why. It's a bit frustrating, but I find a way to get my hands on her books one way or the other. Thanks for stopping by Susan!

  7. I've seen All I Ever Wanted on NG or EW. I can't remember which. So jealous of All Your Perfects, but I'm so glad to hear you loved it. Thanks for stopping by Jennifer!
