Sunday Post - 224 & Stacking the Shelves - 160

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~ It's a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

I spent most of the week working on Christmas decorations. I've done all I'm going to do in that regard this year. Little Girl has done a pretty good job not touching the tree. I'm about halfway done with my Christmas shopping too, and packages are already arriving in the mail which means wrapped presents will soon be under the tree. Little Girl has been battling a cold this week too. Just a runny nose and cough, but no fever. It hasn't affected her much other than making her more snuggly and having a bit of a hard time during the night. I tried the new Walmart Pick Up service. It was super easy, and I can see it being a lifesaver in the future. I didn't get my Top Ten Tuesday post up this week because I was troubleshooting an issue I was having with Disqus. But I don't feel too bad that I missed it because I wasn't really feeling the topic anyway. I finished Gilmore Girls: A Day in the Life, and I have to say that I want more. I also finished Empire of Storms (Throne of Glass, # 5) by Sarah J Maas, and I want more of that too. I'm sensing a pattern here because I finished season 2 of The Royals on Amazon Prime so I'm excited to see more of that too. I finished the Long Way Home (Thunder Road, # 3) by Katie McGarry sampler available on NetGalley, and I have to admit that I'm dying to see what's going to happen next there as well. We also had our annual Christmas Pinterest Party on Saturday. We only had 5 to come (including myself) and we did two crafts, but it was almost more fun for me because I wasn't running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to help a dozen people with their crafts.

Goodreads description--Single dad Andy Shaw loves his job as a sports agent, with one exception: it doesn’t leave him much time for his kids. No parent likes being sidelined, so Andy decides to hire someone to share the workload. But when one of the hottest agents in the industry applies, Andy knows that this deal is definitely trouble.

Danicka Douglas works her butt off, but being an attractive woman in a testosterone-heavy industry isn’t exactly a cakewalk. She guards her professional reputation fiercely, which means no crushing on her gorgeous boss. But the more they ignore that sexy little spark, the more it sizzles…

Just when it looks like romance might be in the game plan, Dani is threatened by a stalker with dark intentions. To keep her safe, Andy must cross the line between professional and very personal…because this time, he’s playing for keeps.

That's it for my shelves and recaps of my past and upcoming week. What did you add to your shelves this week? Any bookish news you want to talk about? Let me know!
