Sunday Post - 187 & Stacking the Shelves - 134

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~ It's a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Baby Girl had her 4 month old check up this week. She's in the top 10% for her height so she's really long. Even the doctor was impressed with her alertness. He also said her second tooth is close. I can't tell it yet, but I guess we'll see. We also transitioned her to the crib at night this week. That's been harder on me than it has been on her I think. I miss having her right beside me in her cradle, but I know the crib is for the best. I celebrated my 5th Blogoversary this week. I can't believe it's been that long. Husband and I also got new cell phones this week. We went with the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I haven't really had it long enough to give much of an opinion on it, but I think I'm going to like it.

Goodreads description--A Complex and Compelling Glimpse at One of the Bible's Baddest Girls

Life is not easy in Philistia, especially not for a woman and child alone. When beautiful, wounded Delilah finds herself begging for food to survive, she resolves that she will find a way to defeat all the men who have taken advantage of her. She will overcome the roadblocks life has set before her, and she will find riches and victory for herself.

When she meets a legendary man called Samson, she senses that in him lies the means for her victory. By winning, seducing, and betraying the hero of the Hebrews, she will attain a position of national prominence. After all, she is beautiful, she is charming, and she is smart. No man, not even a supernaturally gifted strongman, can best her in a war of wits.

That's it for my shelves and recaps of my past and upcoming week. What did you add to your shelves this week? Any bookish news you want to talk about? Let me know!
