Top 10 Tuesday is a post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and this week's topic is Top Ten Throwbacks.
Some of these throwbacks are so old I never reviewed them on the blog because I read them before I started blogging. But all of these are ones that I've read in my adult life and not like books I read and loved in high school or elementary or anything like that.
- Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer - Twilight, New Moon
- Graceling Realms series by Kristin Cashore - Graceling, Fire, Bitterblue
- The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins - The Hunger Games, Catching Fire & Mockingjay
- Vampire Academy series by Richelle Mead - Vampire Academy, Frostbite, Shadow Kiss, Blood Promise, Spirit Bound, Last Sacrifice
- Slammed series by Colleen Hoover - Slammed, Point of Retread, This Girl
- Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley
- Wolves of Mercy Falls series by Maggie Stiefvater - Linger, Forever, Sinner
- The Forest of Hands and Teeth series by Carrie Ryan - The Dead-Tossed Waves, The Dark and Hollow Places
- Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers
- The Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay
(And of course Harry Potter.) Which books are your favorite throwbacks? Let me know!
Some awesome titles on this list. I only just recently read The Wolves of Mercy Falls, and I loved it so much. I've got Sinner sitting on the tbr shelf patiently waiting for me!
ReplyDeleteThere are few on your list that I've never read, that sound really great! So i'll have to add them to my wishlist!

I still need to read the Hunger Games series at some point! And Vampire academy is a series I kinda want to try. I saw the movie and while it wasn't exactly great it did intrigue me about the world a bit!
ReplyDeleteThe Ryan books look good too!
I loved The Hunger Games books!

Oh I loved The Wolves of Mercy Falls...obviously since it made my list. And while I loved Sam...I loved Cole St. Claire too! I hope you get to read Sinner soon. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
ReplyDeleteSuch a good series! Thanks for commenting Jo!
ReplyDeleteI agree. Thanks for commenting Lisa!
ReplyDeleteOh the VA movie kind of sucked, but the series is SO good! I highly recommend that you press on at least until book 3 if you don't find yourself completely loving it. It gets better and better and better. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
ReplyDeleteI finished Sinner on Saturday, and although I already loved Cole... I love him even more now! I'm sad there isn't more about him!
