Sunday Post - 3/11/18

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~ It's a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Baby Boy had his 4 month old check up on Monday. He's in the top 20% for height and average for weight. No teeth coming in just yet. It's funny how each baby is different. Little Girl had 4 teeth coming in at once by this age. Not much else happened during the week this week. Saturday I ran to the grocery store by myself just to pick up some things that are hard to explain to Husband that I needed. He's been doing the shopping for me since Baby Boy was born, but we've discussed letting me go on Saturdays alone while he keeps the kids. I AM DOWN FOR THAT. Thanks to everyone who has completely my survey so far. I'm still accepting responses if you haven't had a chance and would like to. I'll do a post when I've finished collecting responses with a summary of the results. No new books this week.

That's it for my shelves and recaps of my past and upcoming week. What did you add to your shelves this week? Any bookish news you want to talk about? Let me know!

  1. Tom and I go grocery shopping together, because when he goes alone, he never seems to get what I need! Or he'll call me 5 times.

Right now with the baby we have been doing grocery delivery but soon I will go back to doing it while my husband is with the kids. It is so much easier to go by myself! Have a great week!

  3. I'm glad the baby and Little Girl are both doing well! And yay for getting out by yourself for a little while, even if only to go to the grocery store. Even though it's a joy, you need a break from mommying occasionally (because it's also a lot of work!)

  4. I don't think I'm doing very well on any of my challenges. I probably need to figure that out. Hope you're having a good week!

  5. Some precious 'me time' for yourself when you head out alone. Have a great week ahead!

  6. Oh yes. It's the little things, right? I love the kids but I need my sanity too! Thanks for stopping by Lark!

  7. I haven't been doing that great either honestly. I'm really just trying to keep my head above water on my review books. Maybe we'll both get it together soon. Thanks for stopping by Lisa!

  8. It really is precious...and little. Thanks for stopping by Michelle!

  9. HAHA! YES! We used to shop together. Until kids. I would much rather shop together. But this is life now I suppose. I definitely prefer to be in control of it though. Thanks for stopping by Angela!

  10. A week of no power? Oh wow that's awful! We've had storms for 3 days here and it keeps going on and off, but never off for too long at one time. It's still a pain. Makes you thankful for the things we take for granted. Thanks for commenting as always Mary!
