Ten Books I Still Need to Read by My Favorite Authors

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week's topic is Top Ten Books I Still Need to Read by My Favorite Authors.

  1. Heartless by Mariss Meyer - I really have no real reason for having not read this except that I don't have it in my possession.
  2. From Sand and Ash by Amy Harmon - I love Amy Harmon, but I still wonder if I will enjoy this one.
  3. Dark Age (Red Rising, # 5) by Pierce Brown - This series is so heavy emotionally for me that I need time to recover before reading each new book. I hope to get this for Christmas.
  4. Kingdom of Ash (Throne of Glass, # 7) by Sarah J Maas - This book is so long that I know I could read about 3 or 4 shorter ones in the same amount of time so I keep putting it off.
  5. Restore Me (Shatter Me, # 4) by Tahereh Mafi - I liked the way things wrapped up and I'm not sure how I feel about revisiting this series.
  6. A Convenient Fiction (Parish Orphans of Devon, # 3) by Mimi Matthews - Since I was denied a review request for this one I just haven't gotten around to buying it. Maybe I'll get it for Christmas too. I know I'll read it quickly once I get my hands on it.
  7. Maybe This Time by Kasie West - Another one I was denied a review copy for and I haven't purchased it so maybe this will be another that I find under the Christmas tree.
  8. Never Never Part 3 by Colleen Hoover & Tarryn Fisher - This is one of those rare times when I'm not sure I even want to bother. Everyone seems quite disappointed with this book so I'm not sure I'll bother reading it. Especially since you can't buy it on kindle anymore and you have to get the set to get access to it.
  9. Anathema (Casual Enchantment, # 1) by KA Tucker - This series was out before I found KA Tucker. I've read all of her published books (except one) that have released since I found her, but I haven't read this series.
  10. The Glittering Court (The Glittering Court, # 1) by Richelle Mead - I started this one. I got about 30 or 40% into it and didn't like the direction it was headed so I put it down. I've actually gotten it from the library on audiobook, but I haven't finished it yet.

Do you have any favorite authors that you've not read all of their books yet? Let me know!

  1. Jessica @ a GREAT readDecember 10, 2019 at 3:43 PM

OOh nice picks! I loved loved loved Heartless! It was such a unique way of seeing why the Queen of Hearts is the way she is. I find myself enjoying the new Shatter Me trilogy. It's getting in Juliette's history and that's all I'll say on that! I read The Glittering Court but have yet to read the next two books. It was a different sort of read...I will say that. It will be interesting to read the other's girls books as I believe they kind of happen at the same time in all those moments that the three aren't together! We shall see when that happens! Lol!

    Here's my Tuesday Post

  5. I own Heartless and still haven't read it. I have no idea why. I need to make sure and read it in 2020! :)

  6. What are you unsure about regarding From Sand and Ash? Personally it was in my top 5 reads of the year, but I also had really specific things I was looking for that this delivered on (mainly childhood best friends and We Have To Resist Our Feelings) so I may be too blinded by my love to objectively rec it.

    My topic is here.
