The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~ It's a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.
Husband's friend that was visiting left us on Monday. I had some last items to check off to get the house back in normal working order after Christmas. Tuesday we went to the library and to get groceries. We couldn't go to the park because it'd rained so much the creek near the park was dangerously high and flowing rapidly. I also had a hair appointment. It was so long overdue, and it felt SO GOOD to have it done. Wednesday we started back to school. Baby Boy went to his Mother's Day Out program and I started back with the big kids homeschooling. Our first two days went so well. Thursday, we went to my parents for the day. I helped blow the leaves off their drive and walkway. The kids played a lot of basketball. Friday was a rainy day. Friday school did have a few blips but nothing too bad. Little Boy has a habit of pretending he doesn't know something when he doesn't feel like doing it. That's a trigger for me because I know better, and I don't like to be manipulated or lied to. But it was a small thing when compared to the overall day. The temperatue is dropping after the rain we got Friday. Saturday was pretty cold (for us), and this week is supposed to be even colder.
