Sunday Post - # 3

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimba @ The Caffeinated Book Reviewer ~this meme was inspired in part by ~ In My Mailbox~ It's a chance to share News. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up for the week on our blog.

Because I already participate in the In My Mailbox meme, I'm just going to use this one as way to recap my week.

I reviewed Timepiece by Myra McEntire giving it 3 Stars.

I participated in Top 10 Tuesday. This week was a freebie, so I chose Top 10 Hilarious Book Titles.

I also reviewed A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin giving it 5 Stars.

My giveaway for The Golden Lily ended this week. The winner was Paula Bragg. I had a surprisingly low amount of entries for this giveaway. But no matter.

And finally, I participated in In My Mailbox this week.

I'm kind of a fly by the seat of my pants blogger, so I can't promise any post in particular, but I plan to participate in Top 10 Tuesday as per usual. What reviews I do just depends on which books I finish over the next week.

What about you guys? Did you finish any books this past week? Got any special bookish plans for the upcoming week? Let me know.

  1. Sad to hear that Timepiece wasn't as good a read for you! I'm really hoping to be able to read the series sometime soon :) ARGH, I missed your giveaway!!! I really wish to read The Golden Lily... Ah well, have a great week!

I'm now a proud new follower of your blog, do drop by mine @ too!

    1. Hi Alicia! Thanks so much for stopping by, commenting, and following! I really appreciate it.

Timepiece wasn't bad, I'm glad I read it. But maybe you'll like it more than I did. And you definitely must read The Golden Lily at some point!!!

I'll definitely stop by your blog! Thanks again.

  2. Hi Sandy! Super nice to meet you. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am always happy to return comments. Wow your header is gorgeous! Looks like it could have been from my neck of the woods up here in Oregon. The George Martin series has been on my list for awhile I just haven't had the time to dig into a long read. I am glad they are good reads for you. I still am reading Golden Lily in between my commitments. It is a good one. A fly by the seat of your pants blogger...I used to be like that but honestly it is so much easier to have a schedule. I will have to pop by and see what you post this week! Have a fabulous week!

    1. Hi Heidi! Thanks for stopping by! My husband actually did my header for me based off my background!

The Song of Fire and Ice series has been really good and A Storm of Swords definitely has been my favorite so far. I hope you find the time to check them out. But I'm really glad you're reading The Golden Lily too. I LOVE Richelle Mead!

As far as having a schedule, I have certain post I plan to do each week like Top 10 Tuesday and such, but it's mostly just reviews that I don't plan. I just review them as I read them. It works for me so far. I'm not reading books so fast that I get behind on posting. But if I were, I could definitely see how having a schedule would be necessary.

Thanks again for stopping by and I hope you do come by later in the week to see what I've got! I'll definitely be back to check out your blog too!

  3. Awesome haul this week!

    Happy Reading,
