Top 10 Tuesday is a post hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and this week's topic is Top Ten Books That Will Make You Cry.

      2) If I Stay (If I Stay, # 1) by Gayle Forman
      11) Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson
      12) Where the Red Fern Grows by Wilson Rawls

I cannot seem to stick to ten books. Of course, there are TONS of other books that have made me cry, but these are some of my favorites. Which books are guaranteed to make you cry? Let me know!

Great picks. If I Stay made my list too, such an emotional and beautiful book. I also picked Deathly Hallows, I pretty much cry from beginning to end. My TTT :)

  4. I remember that Bridge to Terabithia was a pretty rough read when I was a kid. Very sad.

  6. I completely agree with If I Stay. That book made me cry so many tears. I just couldn't seem to stop crying while reading. It is such a sad and tragic story that how can a person not cry at least once while reading it?

  8. I can't believe I forgot Bridge to Terabithia. I read that in 4th grade and cried my eyes out. And I'm actually reading The Shack right now, but I was warned it was a crying book before I started.

Thanks for stopping by my TTT! :)

  12. Oh yes, If I Stay was major. That one had my on the verge of blubbering! It was messy! And so many characters lost in the Deathly Hallows! It HAD to make the list! Thanks for commenting!

  13. Yep. I read that one in the 5th or 6th grade and I think it was one of the first books that I read where a major character died. So sad.

  15. Worst part for me with If I Stay is that I listened to the audio version AT WORK! I was totally over there sniffing and crying while I was trying to write lines of code for my programs. I'm sure the guys that I work with were totally freaked out that day! :)

  17. I know right. That was about the age I was when I read it for the first time too. The Shack didn't make me cry as much as I was told to expect to. I did cry, but not the whole time. But since two other friends of mine messy-cried reading The Shack I felt like it should make the cut. Thanks for stopping by!

  19. Oh boy, The Shack had me weeping like nothing else. I Totally forgot about that one. I have seen Rose Under Fire on a lot of lists, I wouldn't have thought that one was a tear jerker.

    Great list!

  20. Oh yes. I debated adding Code Name Verity to the list, but for me Rose Under Fire was more emotional. Thanks for commenting!
